The gathering gloom and impending rain was only there for a small part
of Daytona Bike Week during 2007. For the most part, it was sunny
skies with sunshine and the wind blowing in off the Atlantic Ocean
to the great joy of visitors who escaped from much more treacherous
climate to the far north. And so it is every year, nearly, an
escape from more hard weather.
