It is certainly possible to remair anonymous to a great extent, unless
you are just unlucky at it. For instance, someone just might be tooling
along down the street when a photojournalist, one of the best, by the way,
happens to be on the same general plain, in which case the subject
stands a fair chance of being immortalized.
